Unfulfilled country wives are great dancers.
I learned this at my last family reunion. No, we were all pretty much Germanic in our roots, but they were all farmers, and though they came from the Northland, that gave us a sort of tie with the south we could never since have cut.
They farm, we farm. It bound us together. Made us republicans.
Made us love the country, love the land, love America.
I’m not a republican, I live in the west, in Arizona, me, the author, but being in the southern part of the country, however westward, where there are guns and ponies and wild trains, gives me a compassion for those born south of the superior- the New Yorkers, the D.C. Where our country was formed. (In the real world) (Couch Face).
